I haven’t put up any new sketches for a while, been a bit preoccupied. That’s not to say I haven’t done any drawing at all, but i figured i might as well just wait for my Wacom tablet to arrive before working on any new stuff or all the “in progress” stuff i already have.

Anyway, it arrived today! Still trying to get a handle on the thing, though so far so good. So here’s my first piece of Wacom art. (And I’ve stayed up way past my bedtime doing this, now i’m gonna be sleepy as hell in class tmw. again.)

We all have days like these: a work in progress.

An early success in my home-made silk screen experiment. I’ve had these two prints for a while. But now that I’ve started toting around a new notebook, I didn’t want to miss seeing this rabbit face entirely.

Printed with poster paint onto an old cloth-covered notebook.

Printed with same method onto a handmade notebook from Rome, given by a friend.

I’m not a Middle Child myself, but having grown up in a large family, I am sensitive to the peculiarities of this particular breed.

After a few false starts, Agnes finally said, “They should look like middle-aged men.”

The result:

Hippos

I’ll put up another update when I’ve finished the rendering.

Speech Bubbles

These scribbly speech bubbles were initially roughs from an ad campaign we proposed (it was eventually rejected). But since we’re environmentally friendly, my partner kept the drawings in the job bag hoping they’d get recycled again some day. And here they are. Ready to be turned into – maybe – a series of t-shirts.
